All classes (unless otherwise state are at the Ozark Gateway Assn. Conf Center.)

All agents are required to take the Code of Ethics by or before 12/31/2008, if they haven’t done it already. (Can be taken for free on NAR’s website, under Education tab).

May 1, 2008 – Mark Barker

6 Hours of CE for the following: “Missouri CORE” (3 Hours CORE) 9 am to noon and “Mortgage Fraud & RESPA” (3 Elective hours) 1pm to 4 pm.

May 2, 2008 – Mark Barker

6 Hours of CE for the following: “Code of Ethics” (3 Elective Hours & 2.5 NAR required hours) 9 am to noon, and “Service Power: Serving the Difficult Customer” (3 Elective Hours) 1 pm to 4 pm.

MAR will bill you the proper fees for the class.  Class is “New Home Construction” on Sales, Marketing, working with builders, & Concepts. 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. This class is worth 6 Hours of Elective Credit.

6 Hours of Elective Credit for these 2 classes: “Counseling Today’s Sellers” and “Melting Pot to Salad Bowl-Cultural Diversity”. 9-12 am & 1-4 pm * MREC approved

6 Hours of Credit for these 2 classes: “Duties in Conflict: Handling the In-House Transaction” and “Risky Business: Risk Reduction for Today’s Agent”. 9-12 am & 1-4 pm  (MREC still needs to approve)

This class is mandatory for new members, and is by invitation only.  DR’s will be notified who needs to attend as well.

MAR will bill you the proper fees for this class. Class is “Build More Business” on Business Planning & Career Development. 8-5:30 pm. This class has no credit hours.

3 Hours of CE: “Behave Yourself! Code of Ethics” (3 Elective Hours & 2.5 NAR required hours) 1-4 pm.

This is an SRS Designation course (Seller Representative Specialist). It is the first time it’s been offered in our area. It is a 2-day program and is also approved for 9 hours of Elective credit. MAR will bill you the proper fees for this class. Class is “Homeowner Tax Answers” on Tax Concepts in Real Estate. Must bring a calculator to this class. 8-5:30 pm. This class is worth 6 Elective Hours.

MAR will bill you the proper fees for this class. Class is “Profit from Investment Property” on Basics of Residential Rentals. Must bring a calculator to this class. 8-5:30 pm. This class is worth 6 Elective Hours.

October 16, 2008 (CRS Class) (this is a 2 day course)

This is a designation course: Council of Residential Specialists. It will be taught by Chuck Bode. Class will be from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on this first day.

October 17, 2008 (CRS Class) (this is a 2 day course)

This is a designation course: Council of Residential Specialists. It will be taught by Chuck Bode

Class will be from 8:30 to 4:00 pm, with an exam to follow. Your designation certification will come to you by mail upon completion of this 2 day course.
